Another amazing week with PRR on tour doing more half marathons. Some great new personal records showing that the social training is paying off! #runningonproseco 🙂
On Strava we now have 175 runners, 103 ladies and 72 gents. Not all so active though, so if you are one of the 51 that have got out there yet, now is the time to get moving (or you may just disappear off the list!!).
So far we have a total of 611 running weeks, these are a week where some one has been out at least once (This will get clearer as the year moves on). The ladies have 317 and the men have 294.
We have a few persistent runners that make it out every week of the year, so far this year there are 40 you are all listed below, so well done and keep it up.
To date we have run 15085.8kms and climbed 144872 meters, logging 1858 runs between us all.
The total distance champion for the year so far is Gethin Edwards with a total of 679.6km, and the mountain goat crown for the year so far is Gethin Edwards with 8215m climbed.
For the ladies Catherine Powell has done 408.9km and Catherine Powell is the highest climber so far with 4053 meters for the ladies.
The longest run to date goes to Tim Petterson with a distance of 72km, longest female run to date is Jo Marshall with a distance of 71.5.
Within the club we have the womblers, at the moment these are runners who are not the fast pace racers and tend to run shorter distances, as these generally get drowned by the high rollers I am creating your own set of stats.
At the moment I have classed womblers as runners who pace at more than 06:30 min / K, and run less than 10km maximum on a single run, we have 14 people who fall into this group.
On Parkrun we now have 55 runners, between us we have clocked up 1475 runs. That’s 7375kms, pretty impressive. To be included in this stat you need to set you club as Pontyclun Road Runners.
Within Parkrun there are milestones for runners and we have a few runners with these, so far we have 4 runners who have completed over 100 runs, and 7 runners who have completed over 50 runs
If you are getting close to one of these milestones let everyone know as we all love to be there to support each other for these.
#PRRhugs, lots of hugs going around out there lets keep it moving and sharing the running love.
This week, we have completed 1729.2kms and climbed 18377 meters
The furthest distance goes to Catherine Powell with 73.2km and for the men Gethin Edwards has run 68.8km
Our mountain goat goes to Adrian Davies with 1022 meters, for the ladies Sarah Passmore has climbed 858 meters.
