Well summer is well and truly here and we are baking in the sunshine, lovely for sun tan bad for running without water! #PRRhydrate
What a weekend for PRR, we had the lady score to settle group going out and completing the Vale Ultra 18mile course because they can!, well done Linda and Vicky.
Then on Sunday we had tooo much glorious sun while 20plus PRR runners completed to Swansea 5K (otherwise known as the half marathon!!)Well done to Sophie for pacing at that one too, not easy in that heat to keep a fixed pace.
Then the weekend closed off with 20 going out to the Pipeworks and Indiaah for a little traditional post Swansea curry and a lovely evening had by all.
On Strava we now have 142 runners, 85 ladies and 57 gents.
So far we have a total of 2195 running weeks, these are a week where some one has been out at least once. The ladies have 1190 and the men have 1005.
We have a few persistent runners that make it out every week of the year, so far this year there are 27 you are all listed below, so well done and keep it up.
To date we have run 50673kms and climbed 489558 meters, logging 6449 runs between us all.
The total distance champion for the year so far is Neil Jones with a total of 1881.4km, and the mountain goat crown for the year so far is Neil Jones with 21573m climbed.

The longest run to date goes to Tim Petterson with a distance of 72km, longest female run to date is Jo Marshall with a distance of 71.5.
Within the club we have the womblers, at the moment these are runners who are not the fast pace racers and tend to run shorter distances, as these generally get drowned by the high rollers I am creating your own set of stats.
At the moment I have classed womblers as runners who pace at more than 06:30 min / K, and run less than 10km maximum on a single run, we have 8 people who fall into this group.
On Parkrun we now have 66 runners, between us we have clocked up 1606 runs. That’s 8030kms, pretty impressive. To be included in this stat you need to set you club as Pontyclun Road Runners.
Within Parkrun there are milestones for runners and we have a few runners with these, so far we have 4 runners who have completed over 100 runs, and 6 runners who have completed over 50 runs.
If you are getting close to one of these milestones let everyone know as we all love to be there to support each other for these.
